The game was developed by Dennis Neetix and Marius Wycislik in Germany, and is online since may 19th 2005. Meanwhile roundabout 6100 users (March 2010) discovered 90-minutes.
On June 16th 2006, the developers established the company “MaDe Games GbR”, which still offers 90-minutes for free. One can also buy Premium Accounts, which offer several special features (statistics, press releases, team logo, etc.) but without any advantage to non-premium members. The premium memberships can be booked with the following conditions:
- 90 days for 5,49€
- 180 days for 9,99€
- 270 days for 14,99€
- 365 days for 18,49€
