Abilities

There a 4 major abilities, a coach should have. The higher his skills, the more he can teach to the players. His abilities have influence on the training, and also his skills can decrease if he fails to visit seminars to sharpen his skills (skilldown). But they will increase if he attends.

Technical training

This ability is needed for general ball training: passing, shots on goal, flanks, tackling, etc.

Tactical training

This is necessary for strategies, game combinations, and set-pieces.

Handling of the players

This describes his ability to reach the players. If your coach has a lower value, perhaps he cannot reach his players like it should?

Fitness and shaping

This displays his ability to put together a proper fitness and shaping.

Coach Values

Your coach will have one of the following values:

1 Ungifted

2 Beginner

The coaches start with rather low values, but the will rise, if your coach visits seminars. Each seminar offers a different purpose, so you are in charge.

The chosen ability will rise by one point after each seminar, and the costs for the seminar will also rise after each visited one. This usually takes one week, and the skills are upgraded afterwards.

Also his salary depends on his skills, as it is 500 per level.

Assistant coach

It is always possible to send one of your players to a seminar (30 years of age min, 100000 for 4 weeks) but make sure to make the right decision. The experienced the player is, the better he gets, becoming a coach.

Furthermore, he cannot be used as a player afterwards, but will organize the stamina training from now on. He can also become head coach, if the former one gets fired, or if the former one retires after a season (65 years-70 years of age).
